Get Listed
How to get listed
If you are not currently a certified Sustainable Business Leader or an active SBN Member, to get listed on the Local Green Guide please send us an email: confirming that you are a local and independent business, and listing a few reasons as to why you consider your business to be green. Once we receive and process this information, SBN staff will be in touch about next steps to getting your business listed in the directory. If you are not a certified Sustainable Business Leader or an active SBN Member you can only be listed as a Tier 3 business for one year. Consider taking the next step by becoming an SBN member.
Criteria for listing
In order to get listed in the Local Green Guide businesses have to be local and independent and either SBN members or SBLP graduates. For a free one-year listing as a Tier 3 business, businesses also have to sign the Local Green Guide Pledge.
To maintain the authenticity of the guide and to stay clear of green washing, businesses will be regularly screened.
Pricing
Certified Sustainable Business Leaders and SBN Members receive free listing in the Local Green Guide. Currently there is no charge for being a Tier 3 business on the Local Green Guide, however, Tier 3 business can only be listed for one year.
